FROM THE HOMEOWNER

Fond Memories:

  • We enjoyed sitting on the front patio handing out candy to neighborhood kids on Halloween.
  • Family would come and visit often. It was always a quick and easy walk to downtown Sun Prairie to go out to eat at Half Mile Brewery or Salvatori’s.
  • The large driveway provided a great place for us to grill burgers and drink beer with friends.

Favorite Aspects of the Home:

  • The peonies that come up every year that follow the driveway are absolutely stunning in the summer. They come in colors white, pink, and burgundy.
  • We liked planting a few cherry tomato plants in the square garden beds in the backyard. There’s one garden bed for each unit.
  • The large glass doors in the upper unit kitchen provides a great view of the neighborhood. It’s nice to see all the gardens in the summer.
  • The east facing living room windows offer beautiful views of the sunrise each day. It’s great to sit with a cup of coffee on a Saturday morning and enjoy the sunrise.

 

Updates to the Home:

  • We built a new shed in the backyard in 2019.
  • We put in new carpet in the upper unit in January 2020.
  • We put in 4 new windows; 2 in 2019 and 2 in January 2020.

 

Why we love the Neighborhood/Neighbors:

  • Sun Prairie is a fantastic place to live.
  • This home is in walking distance to downtown Sun Prairie with great shops, restaurants, and breweries.
  • There’s a farmer’s market every Saturday in the summer.
  • Our immediate neighbors are all very nice and we help each other with mowing the lawn or shoveling snow when we can.
  • We love to go on long walks around the neighborhood and enjoy the nearby parks
